President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday received former Minister of Defence, Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, at the State House, Abuja.
General Danjuma (Rtd), a respected elder statesman and retired military officer, paid the President a courtesy visit at the Presidential Villa, where the two leaders held discussions in private.
Although details of the meeting were not immediately disclosed, sources at the Presidency described the engagement as cordial and constructive, touching on matters of national development, security, and the country’s political and economic outlook.
General Danjuma, a former Chief of Army Staff and prominent philanthropist, has remained an influential voice in Nigeria’s national discourse. His visit is seen as part of ongoing consultations between the President and key stakeholders across the country.
