NIPR Clinches Global Public Relations Honour in Lisbo
The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has been named the 2025 Global Public Relations Association at the prestigious World Public Relations and Communication Award held in Lisbon, Portugal.
The Institute secured the top global recognition after a rigorous and highly competitive assessment process that featured 89 entries from 19 countries. The award ceremony took place on 19 February 2026 in the Portuguese capital, drawing leading communication professionals and institutions from across the world.
Under the leadership of its President and Chairman of Council, Dr. Ike Neliaku, NIPR was adjudged the best public relations association globally, in recognition of its transformative reforms, ethical standards, professional development initiatives, and growing international engagement.
Industry observers described the honour as a major milestone for Nigeria’s public relations community, noting that the recognition places NIPR at the forefront of global strategic communication practice.
