Nigeria has reaffirmed its resolve to strengthen strategic global partnerships aimed at driving inclusive growth and sustainable economic development, as the Minister of State for Finance, HM. Doris Uzoka-Anite, engaged in high-level discussions with a senior United Arab Emirates (UAE) presidential adviser.
The Minister met with Dr. Tajeddine Seif, Honourary Special Adviser to the President of the UAE and Ambassador of the Pontifical Gravissimum Educationis, to explore strategic investment opportunities that align with Nigeria’s long-term development priorities. Discussions focused on attracting responsible investments in key areas such as sustainable development, education, human capital advancement, and long-term economic value creation.
During the engagement, Uzoka-Anite emphasised Nigeria’s readiness to collaborate with credible and forward-looking global partners committed to supporting the country’s ongoing economic reforms. She highlighted the Federal Government’s determination to foster an enabling environment that promotes investment inflows, strengthens human capital, and supports sustainable development outcomes across critical sectors of the economy.
The Minister reiterated that Nigeria’s economic agenda is anchored on building resilient international partnerships that promote inclusive growth, economic stability, and shared prosperity for Nigerians. She noted that strategic global engagements remain central to positioning Nigeria as a competitive and attractive investment destination on the world stage.
The meeting underscores Nigeria’s broader diplomatic and economic outreach strategy, which seeks to leverage international cooperation to accelerate national development, enhance investor confidence, and unlock sustainable economic opportunities for present and future generations.
